Sizing

The Basic Infinity Scarf crochet pattern instructions allow you to make the scarf in any size, using any yarn and hook size.  Simply follow the pattern instructions until the desired length and width are met.  I have included instructions for two sizes, an infinity scarf, and a cowl, using size 6 super bulky yarn and N15/10mm Crochet Hook.

Adjusting Circumference – add or subtract chains from the foundation chain (making sure you end with an even number of stitches). The finished scarf will be a few inches shorter than your foundation chain.

Adjusting Depth – add or subtract rounds.

Additionally, if you change the yarn size of the project, be sure to adjust your hook size accordingly. You want a little drape to your project, so if it’s turning out a little stiff try going up a hook size or two.
