Yarn Suggestions For The Bobble Crochet Beanie Pattern
The Bobble Crochet Beanie Pattern is written using size 6 super bulky yarn. I prefer Lion Brand Wool Ease Thick & Quick. The colors shown are Oatmeal and Grey Marble.
Below are the suppliers I recommend:
Lion Brand Yarn
Amazon or Like To Know It (LTK)

Yarn Alternatives
You’re welcome to experiment with different yarns, just keep in mind that your gauge may vary depending on the fiber content and thickness. Most size 6 super bulky yarns should work well.
Sizing For The Chunky Bobble Crochet Beanie Pattern
The Bobble Crochet Beanie Pattern is offered in two sizes.
Child 4-10 Years – Fits 19 – 21 inch Head Circumference
Adult One Size Fits Most – Fits 21 – 23 inch Head Circumference
Pompoms & Tags
Who doesn’t love a good pompom to finish off a hat? I say the bigger the better! You can create a beautiful yarn pompom or keep things simple by using pre-made faux fur poms.
One of my favorite online suppliers for faux fur pompoms is UnraveledCrochet on Etsy. She carries a gorgeous selection of pompoms sold individually or in discounted bundles, perfect for makers and market prep.
Adding a custom logo or decorative tag to the brim is another great way to elevate your finished beanie. I created a full blog post on the different crochet tags I use. The full post with extensive detail can be found here.
– The Ultrasuede custom logo tags are from Angie and Britt. They also offer some fun seasonal tag designs.
– The vegan leather & wooden seasonal tags (shown below) are from Savlabot.
– The sew on wooden logo tags are from Grain Deep.
The suede tags are attached with Chicago Screws, I purchase mine on Amazon. I get the 5x10mm in the color Bronze.
