This set of three Crochet Bobble Christmas Trees is a versatile décor collection that can be styled from Christmas throughout the winter season. While they can stand on their own, they hold their shape best when formed around a foam cone.

Yarn Alternatives
The pattern can be worked up with any size 6 yarn or two strands of size 5 yarn held together. Results may vary based on what yarn you use, just make sure you’re getting a tight enough stitch, so the foam doesn’t show through.
The variegated and sage green yarn shown below is Michaels Brand Loops & Threads Bulky Twist Cotton Blend (2 strands held together). I love the look of this yarn, however, it was a bit hard to work with, because it has multiple strands of yarn woven together, which can get hung up on your hook. The colors shown are Dill and Green.
Embellishments For The Bobble Crochet Christmas Tree Pattern
The Bobble Crochet Christmas Trees look cute as is, but you can also dress them up!
I found floral picks from the Christmas section at Hobby Lobby that had little sparkly berries on them, but you can also use beads or any round embellishments you can find. I removed the berries from the picks with wire cutters and hot glued the pieces on to replicate Christmas ball ornaments.
You can top the trees off with a cute bow and hot glue in place.
Most of the embellishments I used are from Hobby Lobby, but you can find similar options at most craft stores or online. You can shop my favorite Christmas embellishments and decorating supplies on LTK or find additional supplies on Amazon.
Sizing For The Bobble Crochet Christmas Tree Pattern
The Bobble Crochet Christmas Tree Pattern comes in three sizes:
Small – Approximately 7 inches tall by 5.5 inches wide (fits around a #6 foam cone form)
Medium – Approximately 10 inches tall by 6 inches wide (fits around a #9 foam cone form)
Large – Approximately 13 inches tall by 6.5 inches wide (fits around a #12 foam cone form)
If you’d like your trees taller or shorter than the sizes listed, you can simply add or subtract bobble rounds and their following increase rounds before finishing off. Be sure to finish with a bobble round so you end with a nice, finished edge.

Five Double Crochet Bobble Stitch – bo
Crochet bobble stitches are multiple, unfinished double crochet stitches, worked together. They pop out on the backside of your work, and can be made with 2 or more double crochet stitches. For this tutorial, we’re going to use 5 double crochets to create our bobble stitch.
Yarn over, insert hook in indicated stitch, yarn over, pull up a loop (3 loops on hook), yarn over, pull through 2 loops on hook
[yarn over, insert hook in same stitch, yarn over, pull up a loop, yarn over, pull through 2 loops on hook]4x (6 loops on hook), Yarn over, pull through all remaining loops on hook.
The Bobble will pop out on the backside/wrong side of your work.
