Tags & Embellishments
I love to embellish my crochet items with cute greenery, wooden and leather screw on tags! The 9 Free Crochet Christmas Patterns include so many patterns, that really lend to using these goodies!!
I recently created a blog post on the different crochet tags I use. The full post with extensive detail can be found here.
– The vegan leather and wooden Christmas themed tags (shown below), are from Savlabot.
– The Ultrasuede and wooden custom logo tags that I use on my non-seasonal items are from Angie & Britt & Grain Deep. Both shops also offer some fun seasonal tag designs.
For the cute embellishments and bells, I used floral picks and greenery from Hobby Lobby and Michael’s (in their Christmas section). I then use wire cutters to disassemble the picks into individual pieces, and then hot glue them in place.
There will be more detailed information in each pattern below.

#1 – Crochet Christmas Ball Ornament | Worked In The Round

First up in, The 9 Free Crochet Christmas Patterns, is The Crochet Christmas Ball Ornament Pattern.
The pattern is worked in the round, stretched over a glass or plastic ball ornament, and then the top is cinched closed. It’s available in two sizes, but is pretty easy to customize.
The pattern is made with the spiked single crochet and rated easy.
The pattern calls for Bernat Maker Yarn, but is very easy to adjust using just about anything. Try using two strands of worsted weight cotton yarn (held together), or follow some of the alternative yarn options I offer in the pattern.
The cute wooden tags are from Savlabot.
#2 – Crochet Christmas Ornaments | Worked In Rows
