For now, all of the free labels on this page are designed for my crochet scrubbies, with everyday and seasonal options to choose from. I’ll continue adding new labels and packaging templates for other crochet projects as I create them, so be sure to save this page and check back for new designs.
You’ll find ready-to-use PNG files that can be uploaded directly into Avery Design & Print, along with editable Canva templates if you’d like to customize the wording or design.
And don’t worry if you’ve never used Canva before — you can simply download one of the finished PNG designs and use it as-is.

Free Printable Crochet Scrubby Labels
There are two easy ways to use the free crochet labels on this page:
Option 1: Download the Ready-to-Use PNG Files
- Prefer to use the labels exactly as shown? Download the finished PNG collection and choose the design you’d like to use.
- Upload the PNG directly into Avery Design & Print when you’re ready to print.
- No Canva required.
- PNG collections download as a ZIP file. Extract the folder first, then choose the individual PNG design you’d like to use.
Option 2: Customize the Labels in Canva
- Want to change the wording, colors, or add your own business information? Open the editable Canva template for the label collection you’d like to use.
- Each collection has its own Canva template, with the designs for that collection included on separate pages.
- Customize your favorite design, then download it as a PNG when you’re finished.
- The templates can be used with a free Canva account. No Canva Pro subscription is required.

Here are some of the supplies I regularly use when packaging my crochet projects for handmade gifts, craft fairs, and seasonal markets.
- Avery 22807 or 22817 Round Labels – 2-inch printable round labels that work with the free label designs included in this post
- Clear Cellophane Bags or Sleeves – 4×4″ or 4.5×4.5″ – perfect for packaging crochet scrubbies and other small handmade projects
- Home Printer & Printer Ink – for printing your labels through Avery Design & Print
- Scissors – helpful for trimming packaging, tags, and other paper details
- Ribbon or Twine – an easy finishing touch for gift sets and seasonal packaging
- Optional Gift Packaging – kitchen towels, small baskets, boards/trays, or other coordinating items for creating finished gift sets
How to Use the Editable Crochet Labels in Canva
If you’d like to personalize the labels, open the editable Canva template using the button for the label collection you’d like to use.
Once the template opens:
- Choose the label design you’d like to use.
- Edit any text, colors, or business information you’d like to customize.
- When you’re finished, select Share → Download → PNG.
- Under Size, increase the export to 2× for a higher-resolution image.
- Download the PNG to your computer or device.
- Upload the finished image into Avery Design & Print using the instructions below.
Tip: The 2× PNG export creates a larger, higher-resolution image that will stay crisp when printed on a 2-inch round label.
You do not need to edit anything if you like the label exactly as shown. In that case, downloading the ready-to-use PNG collection from this page will be much faster.
How to Print Crochet Labels Using Avery Design & Print
I print my labels at home using Avery 22807 or 22817 2-inch round labels and Avery Design & Print.
Once you’ve downloaded your PNG:
- Open Avery Design & Print.
- Search for Avery 22807, 22817, or the product number for the labels you’re using.
- Click Start Designing.
- Upload your downloaded PNG.
- Choose Option 3 – Customize, then center and resize the design. For my 2-inch round labels, I found that resizing the image to approximately 1.90 inches and aligning it in the center gave me the best results. Use this as a starting point and make small adjustments if needed for your printer.
- Keep all important text and any part of the design you definitely want visible inside Avery’s Safety Area. Decorative elements may extend beyond it for full-bleed designs.
- Apply the design to the remaining labels on the sheet, or add a different design to individual labels if desired.
- Preview your sheet carefully before printing.
- Print a test copy on plain paper first to check the size and alignment before using your actual label sheet.
- When you’re ready to print your final label sheet, double-check your printer settings. The settings that gave me the best results were:
- Color ink / Color printing
- Media or paper type: Glossy Photo Paper
- Print quality: Best
Printer menus and available settings vary, so the wording may look slightly different depending on your printer.
In the example below, the decorative foliage intentionally extends beyond the Safety Area, while the important label information stays toward the center of the design.
⚠️ Important: Full-Bleed Label Designs
Some of my label designs have colors or graphics that extend all the way to the edge of the label.
When using these designs in Avery, slightly enlarge the image so the background extends beyond the edge of the round label template.
This is intentional and helps prevent a thin white border from appearing around your finished label if the printer or label sheet shifts slightly during printing.
🖨️ A Quick Note About Printer Alignment
Every printer behaves a little differently. You may need to make small adjustments to your image placement, printer settings, scaling, or Avery alignment before printing your final labels.

I strongly recommend printing your design on plain printer paper first. Hold the test page behind your Avery label sheet and check the alignment before using your actual labels.
Because printer models, settings, browsers, and devices vary, I’m unable to troubleshoot individual printer or alignment issues.
How I Package Crochet Projects for Gifts & Craft Fairs
One of my favorite ways to package small crochet projects is to keep things simple while still making the finished item feel polished and gift-ready.
For my crochet scrubbies, I place the finished scrubby inside a clear cellophane sleeve, seal the package, and add one of the round printable labels to the front.
The clear packaging keeps the crochet project visible, while the label adds care information and gives the finished product a more polished look for gifts, craft fairs, and seasonal markets.
For gift sets, I also like pairing crochet kitchen projects with coordinating towels, dish soap, cutting boards or trays, ribbon or twine, or one of my Crochet Towel Holders.
These same simple packaging ideas can also be adapted for other small crochet projects as I add more label designs to this collection.

Do I Need Canva to Use These Labels?
No. Each label is available as a ready-to-use PNG that you can download and upload directly into Avery Design & Print. Canva is only needed if you want to customize the design.
Do I Need Canva Pro?
No, provided you use the Canva-friendly version of the template created with free elements. You can open, customize, and download the template using a free Canva account.
What Size Labels Do You Use?
I use Avery 22807 or 22817 2-inch round labels for the designs shown in this post.
Why Does the Image Need to Extend Past the Edge of the Avery Circle?
Designs with a colored background or elements intended to extend to the edge are created as full-bleed labels. Extending the image slightly past the cut line helps prevent white edges from showing after printing.
Why Aren’t My Labels Perfectly Centered When They Print?
Printer alignment varies from one printer to another. Avery or your printer settings may require small adjustments. Always print a test copy on plain paper first before printing on your actual label sheet.
Can I Use These Labels on Items I Sell?
