I used Poppy Red, Coconut Milk, and Chartreuse for a classic poinsettia look, but you can play around with other holiday color variations.

How to Crochet the Special Stitches for This Pattern
- Invisible Join Method: After completion of the last stitch of the round, fasten off. With a tapestry needle, weave the tail under both loops of the 1st stitch of the round to create a false stitch, then weave through the back loop of the last stitch of the round and weave in your ends securely.
- Treble or Triple Crochet (tr): Yarn over twice, insert your hook into the stitch, and draw up a loop (4 loops on hook). Yarn over, pull through the first two loops on your hook. Yarn over again, pull through the next two loops on your hook. Yarn over one last time, and pull through the final two loops on your hook.
- Double Treble Crochet / Quadruple Crochet (dtr): Yarn over three times, insert your hook into the stitch, and draw up a loop (5 loops on hook). *Yarn over, and pull through the first two loops on your hook; repeat from * three more times until only one loop remains.
- Chain Two Picot (ch2p): Chain two, then work a slip stitch into the back hump of the second chain from your hook to complete the picot loop.

Free Step-by-Step Poinsettia Dish Scrubby Pattern Instructions
- Use two strands held together.
- Beg chs do not count as a st, work 1st st in same st as beg ch/chs.
Flower Center (Color A)
Rnd 1. Create a magic circle, ch1, work 12sc in the circle, join with invisible join method. (12sc)
Close magic circle tightly, and weave in tails.
Petals (Color B)
- Attach Color B in first st of rnd 1 by inserting hook into the st and pulling up a loop.
Rnd 2. Ch4. In same st, work (1tr, 1dtr, ch2p, 1dtr, 1tr, ch4, slst) to create first petal. *Sk next st, in next st work (slst, ch4, 1tr, 1dtr, ch2p, 1dtr, 1tr, ch4, slst); rep from * around. Sk last st, join with slst in beg st. (6 petals)
Fasten off and weave in ends securely.
