You might remember The Crochet Bunny Wreath or The Spring & Summer Crochet Wreath from earlier seasons. Simply swapping out the spring and summer embellishments for fall inspired accents gives you an entirely new look, perfect for autumn!
I’m a huge fan of DIY home decor projects like this, as they are beginner-friendly and can be completed in about an hour.
The pattern uses a soft roving yarn and single crochet stitches wrapped around a foam wreath form, making it a great choice for beginners.
Once the base is finished, it’s time to get creative! Add faux leaves, mini pumpkins, ribbons, cotton pods, or even dried oranges to customize your fall wreath to your liking.

Yarn Suggestions For The All Season Crochet Wreath – Fall Edition
The All Season Wreath Pattern – Fall Edition is written using size 6 super bulky roving yarn. I prefer Mainstays Roving Yarn from Walmart, in the color off-white.
The Mainstays yarn is marked as a size 6 yarn, however, I find it to be much closer to a Jumbo size 7 yarn.
Additionally, the yarn is 100% acrylic and is currently only sold online in a four-pack. It’s affordable, and you can make several wreaths with it, so I highly recommend it for this project.
Alternative Yarn
Hobby Lobby sells a similar roving yarn, which is classified as a Jumbo size 7 yarn.
The yarn isn’t as nicely woven, and I find the Ivory color to have a very yellowish undertone, whereas the Walmart brand is a nice off-white color with no undertones.
Also, feel free to experiment with other super bulky and jumbo yarns to create different textures and looks.
I think Bernat Blanket Extra or Extra Thick would be a fun alternative, or even the chain style yarns.

Sizing
The All Season Wreaths shown below are made with 10 or 12 inch foam wreath forms. For these sizes, you’ll only need 1 skein of Mainstays Roving Yarn from Walmart.
In addition, you can experiment with any size metal or foam wreath form you’d like. Simply follow the pattern instructions below until the metal or foam is completely covered.
Embellishments For The All Season Crochet Wreath – Fall Edition
Customize your wreath to make it your own with any embellishments you’d like! I often mix greenery with florals and finish with a neutral wire-rimmed bow.
The extra embellishments, such as floral picks, cotton pods, and stems, can be clipped off with wire cutters and then hot glued on. I wrapped floral wire around the faux florals and bow to secure in place, and hot glued the loose pieces on.
Pro Tip: If you prefer to switch out your embellishments for different seasons, use twine or floral wire to attach them instead of hot glue. This makes them easy to remove later. Try to glue any loose pieces to the florals and not directly to the wreath itself.

Special Stitches
How To Single Crochet Around A Ring or Wreath Form
Join yarn to hook with a slip knot, leaving a tail long enough to weave in later. Insert hook from the front to the back of the wreath form, yarn over, pull up a loop, yarn over, pull through two loops (1st single crochet created).
Note – The same method can be used with any size ring or wreath form.
Invisible Join
After completion of the last stitch of the round, fasten off, and with a tapestry needle, weave tail end under both loops of the first stitch of the round.
Next, weave through the back loop only of the last stitch of the round and weave in the tail.

Join yarn to hook with a slip knot.
Rnd 1. Sc around wreath form until wreath form is fully covered, fasten off using the invisible join method. Weave in the loose ends using your finger or a crochet hook.
The wreath portion of your All Season Crochet Wreath is complete! Last, follow instructions below for adding the embellishments.
Adding The Embellishments
I used floral picks, which I then placed in the desired location and attached with twine and/or floral wire.
In addition, I created a basic bow with wire-edged ribbon and wrapped the center with twine to cinch it in. I then used the ends of the twine to attach it to the wreath.
Feel free to experiment with placement and different florals; the options are limitless.
Last, to create a hanger, I added a twine loop to the top of the wreath and weaved the twine around a few crochet loops in the back of the wreath to secure it.
