One of my favorite ways to finish a fall crochet project is by adding decorative tags, faux stems, greenery, ribbon, and other seasonal details. These simple finishing touches give pumpkins, baskets, wreaths, and other handmade projects a polished look.

Creative Festive Embellishments
To decorate many of these fall and Halloween projects, I use faux stems, greenery, berries, ribbon, mini pumpkins, and seasonal floral picks from Hobby Lobby and Michaels. I trim the picks apart with wire cutters, then hot glue the individual pieces onto pumpkins, wreaths, baskets, and other finished projects.
These small details make it easy to customize each project for early fall, Halloween, or Thanksgiving.
